A Desire to be Fancy

I've been posting to this Blog for a number of years and I have found it to be very satisfying and my readers/sometimes viewers (when the post is video) have often told me they have found  the information and opinion provided here from time to time to be useful.
But sometimes I find I have the desire to Post in order to inject myself into some kind of current cultural fascination. Not because I am interested but because the subject is trending.
Oh I go through a kind of tortured reasoning in an attempt to prove to myself that there was/is an organic (ie: truthful angle for me) to get involved with but thankfully  my years on this planet have reduced this desire to be fancy to a dull roar. So for now I leave this confession instead of a windy missive on (FILL IN THE BLANK)

In LA @ March 27th? Then see My Buddy Tom at Book Soup

One of my best friends on this planet is  Best Selling Author Tom Epperson (who is probably the greatest breathing Noir Writer on the Globe.)
He is going to be signing his new Kick-Ass Thriller "Sailor."
You know I'll be there!

David Keating's Wake Wood (2011)

Put Wake Wood on your Horror must see list.
I saw it last night and was thoroughly entertained.
For me it was a cross between Rosemary's Baby and the Wicker Man.
Love those tied sticks-
