Speaking to The Dead at Camp Chesterfield?
Another throwback to the great era of Spiritualism.
Unfortunately as former Fake Psychic Lamar Keene admitted its probably unlikely that you can actually speak to the dead:

Puma Punku: Probably No Aliens Involved But A Very Strange Archaeological Site
It seems everything not immediately explained by what is currently known about Pre-History and /or The Ancient World is automatically assigned some kind of Alien/Paranormal solution.
Of course there are many other more-likely possibilities. (In any event, speculation is always fun.)
Brian Dunning's excellent Overview on Skeptoid
This is History Channel's Alien-Technology focused piece- (But it will give you a great visual tour of the site)

Rest in Peace Mr. Borgnine
We lost an American Icon today. The Great Film and Television Actor Ernest Borgnine.
It was one of the highlights of my life in this Industry to spend some time speaking with Mr. Borgnine at the premier of Sinatra Club.
He was a Brilliant Actor (He won an Academy Award in 1955 for Marty) and a warm and engaging human being.
You will be missed sir.

Good Ole Witt and The Picture Theory of Meaning
Who? Ludwig Wittgenstein
Wittgenstein's Picture Theory of Meaning
Apparently the WORD = SYMBOL = PICTURE of ACTUALITY came to him while serving in the army and involved with providing models of Cannon and Infantry for Military strategy purposes.
Remember, it's not advised to stare into the Infinite.

Oskar Fischenger: Visual Music and the Shape of Sound
Abstract Animator, Inventor and Painter Oskar Fischenger was an original thinker.
From his Wax Experiments to:
One of the main thrusts of his work was to find and deliver a pure expression of sound as it is related to color.
Here's more on Mr. Fischenger from NPR.

The Theresienstadt Nazi Propaganda Film (1944)
Among the many ghastly events of the Third Reich's Reign of Terror was the Propaganda film Theresienstadt that Actor/Director Kurt Gerron was forced to make for his captures.
I normally list the Director's name before the Title in Posts like this, but out of respect for the great talent and character of Mr. Gerron (He was a War Hero and a warm and generous person in addition to being a great talent) I will not count this among his extensive credits and I have every confidence that he would approve.
Kurt Gerron and his family were shipped off to Auschwitz immediately after this film was completed and murdered the next day on October 28, 1944.
Although the film itself was destroyed, some significant footage remains:
Kurt Gerron sings "Mack The Knife" from "Three Penny Opera."
I attempted to come up with some kind of closing statement for this post but came up dry.
Real Evil tends to take the words away.

Hitchcock's Black Mail (1929) Sound VS Silent Comparison
Interesting to see how the early sound equipment forced Hitchcock into a more rigid Proscenium way of shooting.
Nice job by Catherine Grant.

The Mysterious Death of Lynn Grabhorn
Lynn Grabhorn
author of the seminal book:
Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting
as well as Beyond the Twelve Steps
She also wrote the strange:
Dear God What's Happening to Us?
And the even stranger: Planet Two
This was her final message posted on her Web Site:
To all my friends, family, and the rest of you wonderful guys...
My work here on this planet is done, and I've now joined others of the Light in a higher dimension to help facilitate the forthcoming "Birth" that this planet and universe is about to experience.
Please. PLEASE! If you have to grieve for me, hold it down to a couple of minutes, and then be done with it, for that kind of energy placed on one who has just "left" can be torturous.
Frankly, I'm excited about where I'm going, and what's coming down for all of us. Yes, both hard times and great times are coming, but I beg you, STAY with the principles of "Excuse Me..." Teach those principles in seminars, workshops, books, speaking engagements, and one-one-. That is more important than I could ever put into words.
Let people know of the steps in "Dear God...", so critically important to every individual. And then get them into the fun and excitement of "Planet Two." Teach! Spread the word! Make it UN-woo-woo, and totally down to earth.
You're a hearty, determined bunch, and while I may not know you in human person, I love you so very much. Don't stop...don't stop...DON'T STOP!!!!!!!!! You're going to be a part of an amazing new world and universe that is almost finished.
My deepest love to you all,
Lynn Grabhorn
Her death remains mysterious
Comments and Clues are very welcome.
