Is "The Law of Attraction" For Real?

 We've all heard about "The Secret, " Mind over Matter and on and on.. I've lost count of the number of people I know with "Vision Boards."
"Believe It Achieve It."  Right?
Well there is no doubt that a Positive Outlook is helpful in many situations. But the concept of imagining things into reality is at best overly optimistic.

The Channeling Continues: No Dearth of Speakers From the World of Spirits

Since stumbling upon Jane Roberts who began the Channeling Craze way back in 1970 I find that I can't get enough of the fact that there are a huge group of people (Some would say) making an excellent living talking in a funny accent and presenting more or less the same scientifically unproven (ie; in magnetism two positives always repel each other) Law of Attraction formula.

Mind Over Matter,The Secret, Random Number Generators and the Physics of Intention

Recently the book "The Secret," which touts the Law of Attraction has been flying off the shelves. Although it's is slowing a bit now (I'm starting to see unsold stacks of books and CD's.)Despite the strong feelings on both sides of the concepts espoused by the books experts, at the heart of all this current inquiry into "mind Power," is the legitimate question as to whether an individual's thoughts can actually influence the physical world.

In addition to armies of True Believers, there are also scientists involved with determining whether or not there is anything to this.
