Rest in Peace Mr. Barbera

Cartoon Legend Joseph Barbera passed yesterday at the age of 95. It was my good fortune to meet both Mr. Barbera and Mr. Hanna while doing a cartoon for their studio in the nineties.
On one of my frequent visits to the old Hanna-Barbera Studio complex I was able to introduce my father to Joseph, (Both Italian and only a year apart in age they got along great.) it remains one of my fondest memories.
Mr. Barbera's office was filled with memorabilia, but as an obviously devout Catholic, he was most proud of those which commemorated his audience with the Pope.
Thank you Mr. Barbera for all the wonderful smiles.
Later,
Paul Parducci
