Herk Harvey and Carnival of Souls

Herk Harvey's Carnival of Souls (based on the Ambrose Bierce short story An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge) was endlessly run on local television when I was a kid. It's imagery and pace make it a masterpiece. Herk Harvey was an industrial filmmaker from Lawrence, Kansas and COS was his only feature. (All it takes is one.) It is hands down one of my favorite movies.
It is not by any means a perfect picture (if such a thing exists) but it is Cinema at it's best.
Watch it and you will be affected.
